Chocolate chip breakfast muffins

This morning, me and my dad cooked chocolate chip muffins that we bought at HEB. The muffins are really tasty. They are called Simple Mornings and they are new. We have made these before, about five or six times. They are my second favorite muffin. My favorite muffins are jumbo cinnamon muffins, also from HEB. We usually get donuts at Shipley's on Saturday, but we made muffins instead.

Here is the recipe for making the chocolate chip breakfast muffins.
  1. Get in your car and drive to HEB.
  2. Go to the muffin aisle and get Simple Mornings Chocolate Chip muffin mix.

  3. Pay for the muffin mix at the checkout line.
  4. Put the muffin mix in your car and drive home from HEB.
  5. You will need 2 large eggs, 3/4 cup of water, 1/3 cup of oil.
  6. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  7. Line a muffin pan with 12 baking cups.
  8. Empty the muffin mix into a large bowl.
  9. Stir the eggs, water, and oil, and muffin mix until it is moist. After about 50 strokes, the batter will be slightly lumpy.

  10. Spoon the batter into the muffin pan. Fill the cups to about 2/3 full.

  11. Ask your parent to bake them in the center of the oven at 400 degrees for 16 minutes.
  12. Cool the muffins for 5-10 minutes when they are done cooking.

  13. Remove them from the pan and eat them.
There were twelve muffins. I ate three muffins for breakfast and Peyton ate one. So, there are eight left that we will save for tomorrow morning and to eat as a snack later today.
